High-fired stoneware is exceptionally strong and ensures even heating. Broiler, freezer, dishwasher and microwave safe; oven safe to 500deg.F. Durable porcelain enamel-glaze finish is easy to clean and resists chips, scratches and stains. Will not absorb odors or flavors. Tight-fitting lid seals in moisture so food emerges tender and juicy. Lid is embossed with olive design. Flared handles with traditional scalloped design provide stable grip.
