For standard night light use, just plug the light right into your wall and the panel light will light up at a low level. For a higher level of illumination, press the button on the side of the light one time. During a power outage, the panel light will turn on automatically, making it easy to find in the dark. To use as a portable flashlight or tabletop light, un-plug the light from the wall and fold in the plug for easy handheld use. To switch from night light mode to flashlight, press the side button twice. To turn the flashlight off, press the side button again.
