Constructed of 100% natural kiln-dried cedar, the planter staves are tongue and grooved to ensure stability of the planter for years to come. Reinforced with galvanized steel, each hoop is secured with 6 screws to keep them from “slipping”, as can sometimes happen with genuine whiskey barrels. Constructed to be the same size as genuine whiskey barrels, the barrel has been pre-drilled to assist with drainage and oxygenation of your most treasured plants. This large capacity planter also boasts a rustic burnt finish, to help ensure the plant retains that “old-fashioned” look for years to come.
