Has a shut-off valve which operates below the frost line to supply running water even in the coldest weather. Self draining when handle is in closed position to prevent freezing; must remove hose. All working components can be replaced above ground without digging up the hydrant. Bury depth of 24-in meaning 27-in will be above ground. Double O-ring sealing system provides a positive seal. Complies to federal low lead laws. Normal operating pressure should be 20 to 40 PSI max 80 PSI. Plunger is easily adjustable with square head set screw.
